We don’t like simple questions or easy answers. We dig in with Design Thinking; we get our hands dirty, leaving no stone unturned. So when we kicked off the brand website project for EEI Global, we pushed hard to get at the heart of what truly makes them such a great company. Certainly their work is world-class, and their client list is impressive. But what really struck us was the personal passion and enthusiasm we felt from everyone we talked to—from carpenter to CEO. It became immediately apparent that an authentic representation of EEI Global had to somehow communicate the personality and joy this team brings to their work!
EEI does a great job of capturing the day-to-day feel of their work. They capture behind-the-scenes pics and vids of their process and their people making it happen. They receive unsolicited kudos and recommendations from clients. They’re active in social media, taking the role of thought leaders in their industry. So we decided to bring that all together in a Culture Dashboard where even a quick scroll reveals that the whole is so much greater than the sum of its parts!
We love clients like EEI, who want to push the envelope in a way that’s meaningful and relevant to their audience, building this site to be optimized on desktops, tablets or phones. They’re an extraordinary example of having a great story to tell, and building a strong brand around what comes real and natural to them. Congrats EEI, you’ve nailed it!

According to David Varady, EEI Global’s Chief Marketing Officer, the most rewarding feedback on the site has come from the employees. “This site is a reflection of them. Without Skidmore and their Design Thinking process, our “cultural” tone would have been lost or minimized. We found that we were in lockstep in our views on culture and philosophy. And our site reflects that.”
